This specimen was lot 630 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €2,600 (about US$3,504 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, HERZOGTUM Christian Ludwig, 1648-1665. Löser zu 3 Reichstalern 1662, Clausthal. Ausbeute der Harzer Gruben. Mit Wertpunze. Preussag Collection (Auktion London Coin Galleries/Künker 1) 161 (dieses Exemplar). Schöne Tönung, kl. Kratzer, sehr schön. Exemplar der Preussag Collection, Part I. Auktion London Coin Galleries/Künker 1, London 2015, Nr. 161. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Celle, Christian Louis, 1648-65, triple thaler of 1662, Clausthal mint, for the Harz mines, with denomination punch. Nice toning, small scratches, very fine.)"
Triple thalers featuring the duke's monogram and the leaping stallion are recorded for 1650 (Dav-LS150), 1657 (Dav-LS159), 1662 (this issue), 1663 (Dav-LS177) and 1664 (Dav-LS188). All are rare and expensive.
