Brazil 1807-R 6400 reis
This specimen was lot 20386 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it sold for $1,955. The catalog description noted, "João VI Prince Regent gold 6400 Reis 1807R, AU58 NGC, fully lustrous and very close to mint state. From the Recife Collection of 6400 Reis." The type was struck 1805-17 with the portrait of João as Prince Regent (he later became king João VI).
