This specimen was lot 23862 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $8,225. The catalog description[1] noted, "Maria I & Pedro III gold 3200 Reis 1782-B, AU Details - Surface Hairlines NGC. 'B' to far right after date. Cleaned. Strong features on both sides of the coin. From The RLM Collection, Part II." The peça or 6400 réis was the most common gold denomination with its fractions being much scarcer.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.

Specification: 7.17 g, .917 fine gold, .211 troy oz AGW.
