"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, KURFÜRSTENTUM Georg Wilhelm, 1619-1640. Reichstaler 1630, Königsberg. Spruchtaler. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Sehr attraktives Exemplar mit hübscher Patina, fast vorzüglich. This type of 1627-35 is rare and expensive even by the standard of this state, whose thalers prior to Frederick the Great are generally rare. A half thaler (KM 124.1) also exists.

Recorded mintage: 20,000.

Specification: silver.

Catalog reference: Dav-6141, Marienb. 1497; Old. 17 a, KM 125.
