This specimen was lot 1138 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRANDENBURG-ANSBACH: Alexander, 1757-1791, AR kreuzer, 1790-S, struck in Schwabach, PCGS graded MS63, ex Don Erickson Collection." This type was struck 1780, 1784-91. It comes not from the Electorate of Brandenburg (later the Kingdom of Prussia) but from Brandenburg-Ansbach, a Hohenzollern enclave west of Bavaria and neighboring Nuremburg. Four pfennig = one kreuzer.
