This coin is a one year type and is seldom seen. Like most zinc coins, nice specimens are scarce. It superseded copper-nickel issues of 1937 and 1939. No coins were issued for Bolivia between 1951 and the reform of 1965.

Recorded mintage: 10,000,000.

Specification: 1.75 g, zinc, 17.9 mm diameter.
