This copper-nickel five centavos was struck at the Paris mint 1902, 1907-09 for Bolivia. It superseded the silver five centavos issued 1872-99. There is a very similar copper-nickel ten centavos (KM 174.3).

Recorded mintage: 3,000,000.

Specification: copper-nickel.
