This type was struck 1901-09 for Bolivia. An overdate, 1907/2, is noted for the year. Copper-nickel five centavos and silver twenty and fifty centavos also exist for the period. Silver coinage ended in Bolivia in 1909.

Recorded mintage: 4,000,000.

Specification: copper-nickel, reeded edge.
