This specimen is one of a series struck 1791-1808 in Bolivia during the reign of Charles IV. It is a common date, though the SCWC values it about 50% more than the contemporary Mexican issue. Assayer PP is recorded for the years 1795-1802.

Recorded mintage: unknown. Later dates, similarly priced, have mintages about 2-4 million.

Specification: 27.07 g, .896 fine, .780 ASW.
