This specimen was lot 2567 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it sold for $258.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bolivia. Cob 2 Reales, 1658-E (Potosi) NGC AU53. Philip III. NGC graded AU-53." As part of the reform of 1652, the date was moved to the center of the obverse, greatly increasing the percentage of production with legible dates. This type was issued until 1667.
