This specimen was lot 4291 in Sincona sale 34 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 2,000 CHF (about US$2,374 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Karl VI. 1711-1740 Taler 1712. Prag Münzmeister Ignaz Anton Putz. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. Schöne Tönung. Kl. Stempelfehler Rv. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, thaler of 1712, Prague mint, mintmaster Ignaz Anton Putz. Rare, About extremely fine, beautiful toning, a few die flaws on the reverse.)"
This is one of the first thalers struck for Charles VI. It is rare.
