Künker sale 293, lot 1552
This specimen was lot 1552 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,500 (about US$2,022 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Rudolf II. 1576-1612. Reichstaler 1607, Kuttenberg. Münzmeister David Enderle. Attraktives, fast vorzügliches Exemplar. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, thaler of 1607, Kuttenberg mint. Attractive extremely fine example.)"
The SCWC lists this type for 1602-12 under Bohemia. Kuttenberg, now Kutná Hora, was indeed in Bohemia, but was run by the Hapsburgs as an ordinary branch mint. The town was devastated during the Thirty Years War and the mines fell into ruin.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: silver.

Catalog reference: Dav-3028, Dietiker 392; Halacka 369; Voglh. 101 III, KM 26 (listed under Bohemia).
