This specimen was lot 4116 in Sincona sale 34 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,425 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Rudolf II. 1576-1612 Taler 1599. Budweis Münzmeister Christ. Mattighofer. Selten. Sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, thaler of 1599, Budweis mint, mintmaster Christ. Mattighofer. Rare, Very fine.)"
Budweis, a rather obscure mint in Moravia, produced this type 1589-1600.
