This specimen was lot 4009 in Sincona sale 34 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 2,400 CHF (about US$2,849 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Ferdinand I. 1521-1564 Taler 1548. Kuttenberg. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön, Alte Kabinetttönung. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand I, 1521-64, thaler of 1548, Kuttenberg mint. Very rare, Good very fine, old cabinet toning.)"
Davenport lists this type for 1548-56.
