This specimen was lot 3059 in Sincona sale 59 (Zurich, October 2019), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$969 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Bern | Stadt und Kanton, Halbbatzen 1770, Bern. Rundes Wappen, Bär im Feld, keine Verzierungen. Rv. Ankerkreuz, darüber in einem runden Feld 2 / CREÜ / ZER. Im Schriftkreis unten die Jahreszahl. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich-FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Bern, half batzen of 1770, Bern mint. Round arms, bear in field, no ornaments. Reverse: anchor cross, value in round field, date in circle. Very rare in this condition, Extremely fine-uncirculated.)"
This is a rare one year type struck 1770 only. At the time, four kreuzer = one batzen and forty batzen = one thaler.
