(Holy Roman Empire, principality of Batthyani, Charles Joseph, 1764-72, ducat of 1764, Vienna mint. Very fine. Mounted and scratched.)"This scarce type was minted 1764, 1765 and 1770. A thaler (Dav-1182), five ducats (Fr-551) and ten ducats (Fr-550) also exist. This specimen realized more than the catalog value even in its damaged condition.
