This specimen was lot 1100 in Jean Elsen sale 115 (Brussels, December 2012) where it sold for €600 (about US$916 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NEDERLAND, BATENBURG, Willem van Bronckhorst (1556-1573), AR daalder, z.j. (1556), Met titel van Karel V. Droit: Wapenschild onder een toernooihelm. Muntmeesterteken: granaatappel. Revers: Gekroonde rijksarend. Met AVGVSTVS op kz. Ex HSA 6906. Zeer Fraai. (Batenburg, William of Bronckhorst, 1556-73, silver thaler without date (1556), in the name of Charles V. Obverse: helmeted arms; mintmaster's mark: pomegranate; reverse: crowned double-headed eagle. Very fine.)"
