This specimen was lot 2767 in Sincona sale 13 (Zurich, October 2013), where it sold for 520 CHF (about US$673 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ, Basel Stadt, Taler o. J. (1690). Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, city of Basel, thaler without date, circa 1690. Very fine to extremely fine)."
The SCWC lists this for the eighteenth century but we respect the opinion of SINCONA, who live in Switzerland.
