This copper coin was issued from Barcelona for use there and in Catalonia. It was struck 1808-13 and accompanied by copper one (KM 65) and two quartos. In the local currency, four quartos = 1/6 peseta. This Spanish coin is not common but priced rather low in the SCWC. The last local Catalonian issue is a rare six quartos dated 1848.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date for the type.
