This specimen is one of a type struck for the Bahamas 1974-2005. In 1974 the bust of the queen was dropped in favor of the arms of the Bahamas. The Franklin Mint produced this denomination 1971-85. A sailing sloop is featured on the reverse.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 5.75 g, copper-nickel, 24.26 mm diameter.
