This specimen is one of a type struck for the Bahamas 1974-2000. In 1974 the bust of the queen was dropped in favor of the arms of the Bahamas. The Franklin Mint produced this denomination 1971-85. The animal featured on the reverse is the bonefish.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 5.13 g, copper-nickel, 23.5 mm diameter.
