Sincona sale 18, lot 3139
This specimen was lot 3139 in Sincona sale 18 (Zurich, May 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"20 Kronen 1923. Wien. Gutes vorzüglich. (Austria, twenty kronen of 1923, good extremely fine.)"
The type was issued briefly 1923-24. Altho it is noted as having circulated, it and the accompanying hundred kronen (KM 2831) seem more likely to have been hoarded, given the instability of the regime. It is today rare.

Recorded mintage: 6,988.

Specification: 6.77 g, .900 fine gold, lettered edge, this specimen 6.77 g.

Catalog reference: Schl. 677. Fr-519, KM 2830.
