Austria 1879 2 florin rev Goldberg 72-5323.jpg

This specimen was lot 5323 in Goldberg sale 72 (Los Angeles, February 2013), where it sold for $230. The catalog description[2] noted, "Austria. 2 Florin, 1879. Franz Joseph I. This semi-medallic issue is included in Davenport but not in the SCWC. It doesn't seem to be rare.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Catalog reference: Dav-31; KM-XM5; Thun-464.
