Austria 1826-A thaler Dav-9
This specimen was lot 22166 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $408. The catalog description noted, "AUSTRIA. Taler, 1826-A. Vienna Mint. PCGS MS-63 Secure Holder. Boldly struck with mostly brilliant surfaces. From the Keystone Collection." This type was struck 1824-30 at Vienna ("A"), Kremnitz ("B"), Gunzburg ("G") and Karlsburg ("E") but is not rare. Thalers were struck to this weight standard until 1852.
