This specimen was lot 2160 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it sold for $1,057.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria. Ducat, 1794-G NGC MS60. Franz II, 1792-1835. Lustrous. NGC graded MS-60." Friedberg lists this under Hungary as it was struck at Nagybanya but the SCWC catalogs this under Austria as it was identical to the Vienna mint issue. The type is noted for 1792-1804.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date.

Specification: 3.5 g, .986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW.
