This specimen was lot 4751 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabruck, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €23,000 (about US$30,098 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH. Karl VI. 1711-1740. Doppelter Reichstaler 1713, St. Veith. CAROLVS : VI · D : G · ROM · IMP · S · A · GERM · HISP · HVNG · BOH · REX · Geharnischtes Brustbild r. mit Lorbeerkranz, umgelegtem Mantel und Ordenskette// : ARCHIDVX : AVSTRIÆ : ET : CARINTHIÆ : g : 17 : - : 13 Gekrönter Doppeladler mit Schild auf der Brust, in den Fängen Schwert und Zepter. Von großer Seltenheit. Winz. Randfehler und Kratzer, fast vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, double thaler of 1713, St.-Veit mint. Obverse: armored, laureate and mantled bust right with Order of the Golden Fleece; reverse: crowned double headed eagle with shield on its breast and sword and scepter in its claws. Very rare, minor rim bumps and scratches, about extremely fine.)"
