Sincona sale 39, lot 3967
This specimen was lot 3967 in Sincona sale 39 (Zurich, May 2017), where it sold for 600 CHF (about US$720 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA, Joseph I. 1705-1711 Taler 1706. Graz. Vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Joseph I, 1705-11, thaler of 1706, Graz mint. Extremely fine.)"
This type is noted from Graz for 1706 only, tho it is fairly common. Other Austrian thalers for 1706 include Dav-1018 and -1024.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 28.82 g, .875 fine silver; this specimen is 28.57 g.
