Sincona sale 34, lot 4111
This specimen was lot 4111 in Sincona sale 34 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 700 CHF (about US$831 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Rudolf II. 1576-1612 Taler 1580. Joachimsthal Münzmeister Georg Kadner. Sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, thaler of 1580, Joachimsthal mint, mintmaster Georg Kadner. Very fine.)"
This product of the Joachimsthal mint is listed for 1578-88 and two different mintmasters.
