This specimen was lot 4024 in Sincona sale 34 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 2,600 CHF (about US$3,086 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Ferdinand I. 1521-1564 Taler o. J. (1530/1535). Joachimsthal Münzmeister Klaus Kraus. Selten. Sehr schön. Leicht oxidiert. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand I, 1521-64, undated thaler of the Joachimsthal mint, mintmaster Klaus Kraus. Rare, Very fine, lightly oxidized.)"
Davenport lists this as one of several thalers issued from Joachimsthal during this period, varying in the obverse legends.
