Australia 1958 shilling
The first specimen was lot 3487 in Goldberg sale 85 (Los Angeles, June 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description noted, "Australia. Shilling, 1958. Elizabeth II. NGC graded Proof 66." The SCWC lists this type for 1955-64. This date, from the Melbourne mint, is common, tho proofs are scarce.
Recorded mintage: 7,412,000 plus 1,506 proofs.
Specification: 5.65 g, .500 fine silver, 24 mm diameter.
