This specimen was lot 23957 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $4,112.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Augsburg. Karl VI gold Ducat 1726-B, MS64 NGC Eliasberg Collection, nicely struck with full glowing mint brilliance, rare type in this exceptional quality." The city of Augsburg only issued ducats on special occasions and consequently they are quite scarce.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.

Specification: 3.5 g, .986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW.
