Sincona sale 6, lot 547
This specimen was lot 547 in Sincona sale 6 (Zurich, May 2012), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$308 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Anhalt-Bernburg, Herzogtum Alexander Karl, 1834-1863. Vereinstaler 1859. Gutes vorzüglich. (Duchy of Anhalt-Bernburg, Alexander Charles, 1834-63, union thaler of 1859. Good extremely fine.)"
This one year type has a low mintage but is not valued highly in the SCWC.

Recorded mintage: 24,000.

Specification: 18.52 g, .900 fine silver, .535 troy oz ASW; this specimen is 18,51 g.
