This specimen is a relic of the town of Ametlla del Valles located in the northeast of Spain during the Spanish Civil War. It may have actually made it to Spain before the region was overrun by the Fascists in June 1937, as worn specimens are common.

Recorded mintage: 30,000 (KM 3.2) plus 3,000 (KM 3.1).

Specification: aluminum, 26 mm diameter.
