This specimen was issued by Algeria as part of the F.A.O. series. It was accompanied by an copper-nickel dinar (KM 104) featuring a tractor and a silver five dinars. The next F.A.O. issue of twenty centimes, in 1975, featured a ram's head (KM 107).

Recorded mintage: 2,000,000.

Specification: 4 g, brass, designed by Mohamed Temmam.
