Milled coinage was introduced to Afghanistan during the reign of Abdur Rahman (1880-1901). This abbasi was tariffed at twenty paisa or one-third of a rupee (recall that an Indian rupee was sixty four paisa). This variety has the date (1313) on the obverse; the date is also listed with the date on the reverse (KM 811).

Specification: 3.11 g, .500 fine silver.
