Heritage sale 3010, part of lot 23181

This specimen was part of lot 23181 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), which sold for $230. The catalog description[1] noted, "A Mixed Nine Coin Grouping: ...50 Cents: 1898, 1903, and 1921 (two pieces). Coins grade Fine-AU. A Lot to be carefully studied." The type was struck in 1920-21.

Recorded mintage: 2,579,000 plus a few proofs.

Specification: 8.42 g, .500 fine silver.
