"Karl VI. 1711-1740. Taler 1717, Breslau. Gutes sehr schön. (Germany, duchy of Silesia, Charles VI, 1711-40, thaler of 1717, Breslau mint. Good very fine.)"This type was struck 1716-17 for Charles VI in his capacity as duke of Silesia. On his death, Frederick the Great of Prussia invaded and seized the duchy from Maria Theresia of Austria. This thaler is moderately scarce.
