This specimen was lot 30410 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $1,210. The catalog description[1] noted, "Olmutz. Wolfgang von Schrattenbach Taler 1727 MS63 NGC. Featuring a very strong strike, this attractively toned piece exhibits a mélange of cobalt and cabernet. The highest graded of the date by NGC, the choiceness of this example is sure to please." This type from 1726-27 is among the more available issues from this ecclesiastical state in Moravia, then part of Austria, now the Czech Republic. It was accompanied by a half thaler (KM 424).

Recorded mintage: unknown but fairly common.
