This specimen was lot 40124 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $2,185. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Mecklenburg-Schwerin. 20 Mark, 1872-A. NGC AU-55. One year type." This issue was accompanied by a gold ten mark which is even rarer.
