Heritage sale 3021, lot 22266

This specimen was lot 22266 in Heritage sale 3021 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $3,525. The catalog description[1] noted, "Yi Hyong 1/4 Yang Year 504 (1895), AU58 NGC, nicely toned and attractive, key date for this series." The other variety for 1895 (KM 1109) is common.

Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.

Specification: copper-nickel.
