Sedwick sale 25, lot 1107

This specimen was lot 1107 in Sedwick sale 25 (Winter Park, FL, May 2018), where it sold for $190.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "Honduras, 25 centavos, 1884, NGC AU 55, ex-Roberts (stated on label). KM-50. Lustrous and choice for type, practically no wear. NGC #4724563-015. Pedigreed to the Dana Roberts collection." This type is listed for 1883-1908 and priced fairly low but choice specimens are few. The fineness was reduced to 835 thousandths in 1899.
