This specimen was lot 3250 in Sincona sale 43 (Zurich, October 2017), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$477 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, <blockquote>"''Hessen, Grossherzogtum, Ernst Ludwig, 1892-1918 20 Mark 1906 A. Berlin. Fast vorzüglich.'' (grand duchy of Hesse, Ernest Louis, 1892-1918, twenty mark of 1906, Berlin mint. About extremely fine.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1905-11 at the Berlin mint and is rather scarce in circulated condition.
