This specimen was lot 1149 in Jean Elsen sale 121 (Brussels, June 2014), where it sold for €330 (about US$529 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Royaume, François Ier (1515-1547), AV écu d'or à la croisette, mars 1541, Lyon. 1er type. Droit: Ecu de France couronné. En dessous, D. Revers: Croix pleine dans un polylobe feuillu. Beau à Très Beau. (kingdom of France, Francis I (1515-47), gold écu of the cross, March 1541, Lyon mint, first type. Obverse: crowned arms of France, "D" below; reverse: plain cross within a leafed polylobe. Fine to very fine.)"
Friedberg also mentions a demi-écu d'or à la croisette.
