The specimen shown was lot 1102 in Sedwick sale 11 (Winter Park, FL, April 2011), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, <blockquote>"Bogotá, [[Colombia]], 1/4 real, 1834RU. Bold centers but crude rims, VF with very light toning, elusive type with strong catalog value."</blockquote> This quarter real was struck at Bogotá and Popayán 1826-36 while the country was the "Republic of Colombia," which, after many vicissitudes, is again the country name. The type is much scarcer than the SCWC indicates.
