Sedwick sale 11, lot 991
The specimen shown was lot 991 in Sedwick sale 11 (Winter Park, FL, April 2011), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Bogotá, Colombia, bust 2 reales, Charles IV, 1796JJ, rare. Toned Fine with typically weak centers, no problems (just honest wear), Jorge Ortiz Murias collection of Colombian colonial minors."
The SCWC lists five dates for Nuevo Reino between 1792-98, all rare.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 6.77 g, .896 fine silver, .194 troy oz ASW, this specimen 6.2 grams.
