This silver five centavos, roughly equal to a half dime, was struck in Potosi 1884-1900. It superseded a very similar coin (KM 157.1) issued 1872-84. Both types are fairly common tho varieties abound. Assayer CB is recorded for 1890-93.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 1.15 g, .900 fine silver, .033 troy oz ASW.
