(Germany, kingdom of Bavaria, Louis I, 1825-48, double union thaler of 1845, Munich mint, for the birth of crown prince Louis. Cabinet piece. About uncirculated.)"This is one of two commemorative double thalers issued in 1845 plus the regular issue (Dav-589). None are rare tho they can be pricey.
