This specimen was lot 3490 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €3,200 (about US$4,313 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, Maximilian II. Emanuel, 1679-1726. 2 Dukaten 1697, München. Präsent der Stände zur Geburt des Prinzen Karl Albert, dem späteren Kaiser Karl VII. GOLD. RR Min. gewellt, vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Maximilian II Emanuel, 1679-1726, double ducat of 1697, Munich mint. Present of the estates on the birth of the prince Charles Albert, later emperor Charles VII. Rare, slightly bent, extremely fine.)"
