"Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916. Dukat 1867 E, Karlsburg. Sehr schön. (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, ducat of 1867, Karlsburg mint. Very fine.)"This type was struck 1867-72 only but is common. Gold ducats were struck throughout Franz Josef's long reign and come in many types. This date is known from Vienna, Kremnitz and Karlsburg (shown here).
