Australia 2009 50 dollars KM-1237
This specimen was lot 32474 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description noted, "Elizabeth II Proof 50 Dollars 2009 PR70 Ultra Cameo NGC, Perth mint. A perfect "70" proof coin, made of .9995 platinum. One of the first 350 struck." Since 1989, Australia has entered the bullion and collectibles market in a big way, having produced commemoratives and NCLT's numbering in the hundreds of types. This type was also struck in gold (KM 1227).
